Sorting it all out.

If you've been reading my blog the last couple weeks you'll know that I've got a few things going one medically. Last Monday the 9th of February, I went to UAB for a heart catheterization and was put on a pressure medication. For the last week I have been feeling worse and getting more tired and the tiredness has been lasting longer. I find I have to sit down after doing simple tasks like making RJ a bottle. This afternoon I talked to the cardiologist at UAB who told me to stop taking the pressure medication. We will see how I feel over the next week and give him a call. While at the hospital for the heart cath, some lab work was performed that indicated I have Hyperthyroidism. This may be playing a role in things; however, my thyroid was recently checked and was normal. The cardiologist is going to call my GP and we are going to go from there. Also I mentioned to him that I have an appointment next Wednesday to see a liver sergeon at UAB about the spot on my liver. We were both in agreement that any considerations for another open heart surgery would be made after both the thyroid and liver issue has been taken care of.

Yes, going through these things have been a little difficult. I would say, however; it's been very hard trying to keep everyone in the loop so that we look at these problems from every angle. Oh so many doctors and oh so little memory.

Thank you for all your prayers.
