Didn't expect that...

RJ is almost 7 weeks old. I can't believe that next Friday he will be 2 months old. Time is really flying by. The sleepless nights are getting better...he is sleeping a little bit longer between feedings here and there. Last time we weighed him he weighed 7 lbs. We aren't sure what side of 7 lbs he's on, but if he keeps up the good work he'll be at 8 before we know it. He is now wearing NB clothing. It's a little big but it still looks cute. He can still wear some of the preemie clothes but he's grown out of most of it now. I've got lots of pictures to post as soon as I find the cable for my camera. He's getting cuter and cuter every day. I think he's starting to get his day's and nights in order. He's awake more during the day and by the late night he is ready to sleep continuously between feedings. We are getting used to getting up during the night to feed him. It's not that many times...about 2 now and then one around 5-7 am. So, it's not bad at all.

As I had mentioned before, I had a CT scan and it showed that there were no clots in my lungs. After staying on diuretics for over 3 weeks I am still short of breath and can't stand for long, walk much or go up stairs easily. Things that were in no way a part of my life before. I had my appointment with the cardiologist where he told me that the scan did pick up a couple things. First it showed something on my liver. I can't remember what the doctor said it was, nor could I pronounce or type it if I did. I have an appointment on January 5th with a stomach doctor. Second, it also showed what is called a Pulmonary Artery Stenosis; which is a narrowing of the pulmonary artery. This would explain the symptoms I have been having. This is odd because PAS is a congenital heart defect and would've been detected during one of the MANY cardiologist visits as well as the 3 heart surgeries I've had in my 30 years of life. My cardiologist is not sure what to make of it so he is referring me to UAB; which happens to be where my last heart surgery was. My appointment is March 3rd; however, I am going to call to see if it could be sooner...maybe there will be a cancellation and they can get me in. Please continue to pray. I know that this is in the Lord's hands and he is taking care of everything.
