Update

It's been a while since I've updated on here, so I thought I would. R.J. is continuing to do well. He's eating lots and seems to be gaining weight. We decided to weigh him by standing on the scale with him in our arms and then without him. He's up to 6lbs. I went for my CT scan and everything was ok, there were no clots. Now I am just waiting to hear back from the cardiologist on what we are going to do next. Let me share with you a series of events...just before R.J. came home I came down with a cold. A few days later Aaron starts to come down with a cold and we go to stay with my parents. His goes away fairly quickly and next thing we know...mom comes down with a cold. So far R.J. has not come down with anything. Then, my parents go away for the weekend and mom gets a really bad kidney and upper resperitory infection. Yesterday she went to the ER and was given some IV antibiotics that seem to be helping. Now she seems to be on the upswing and recovering. We are a lovely bunch here...but it appears we are all getting better. I am excited that I will get to go to church tomorrow. Aaron and I are going to take turns going until R.J. is big enough to be around more people.

Thanksgiving was good. We had a total of 17 people here...actually, 18 counting R.J. but he didn't get any turkey. I was glad that we were able to stay here and not have to go home. We sequestered R.J. in my parents room and had limited access to him. It worked out well, and I don't think anyone had their feelings hurt that they could not hold him. It was a good holiday and we are looking forward to Christmas.
