Today Aaron and I had a good visit with the doctor we saw today. Here is what happened. There was a lot of talking and explaining of what the procedure is. Basically it's similar to a heart cath, where the catheter is fed to the liver via a main artery in the groin. From there a chemo-type drug in a solution of oil and iodine is injected into the liver and then the artery is sealed off. This procedure is called T.A.C.E. if anyone is REALLY interested. The procedure only takes a couple of hours and I will be in the hospital overnight. Statistically, less than 50% of patients see a reduction of the tumors to which this procedure is done...but, we know that the Lord cares nothing about statistics and He can do what ever He wants and he will be glorified. Please pray that we continue to look only to the Lord for the strenght, hope, peace and wisdom as we continue to walk through this trial. Thank you for your prayers this far.
