A Trip Down Memory Lane

When I was growing up, each year a group from our church would go to Fall Creek Falls State Park in Tennessee. It was such a wonderful time to go for the weekend and "camp". You weren't completely roughing it, but it did require stepping out of your comfort zone. I am hoping this post will stir some memories for some of you out there (Holly). This is what the little cabins looked like and generally you would put one family in a cabin or if you were single a group of girls or a group of guys would share a cabin. One year a bat made it into ours. That was exciting.

Then there was the dining hall where we would sit and talk; play music; games and generally fellowship into the evening.

I am hoping for the sake of my sanity that Holly, you can tell me if you remember teaching me a little song one evening by the campfire that started off with the word "Bobo". I know others who might read this are thinking I'm nuts. That's ok...I can live with that. All in all it was a great time and I hope to get the opportunity to do something like this again...this time with my current Church family.

We used to camp up there when the kids were little in a tent. Once there was a bat in the bathroom, just hanging out, upside down, of course I was in there taking its picture.
