Female and Ferocious

This morning I went to the "Female and Fabulous" event at the VBC. I was interested in the different booths and yes, the freebies. Well, the big thing was that Dillards was giving a bag away to the 1st 500 women who were there. The first 500 came and went quickly. I was very surprised at how many people were there. From what I heard there were people camped out at 7:00 this morning. The event didn't start until 9:00. As I was standing in line the only thing that was coming from these women's mouths were..."move the line, hurry up let's get in there, what's the holdup..." There were security guards there and I'm wondering if they were there to deter potential thieves or break up a fight over a free bag.

All in all, it was nice to get out and see a demo on how I should be putting my makeup on (if I decide to wear it that day); all the different places to get a facial and massage (tempting); and all the different things you could buy (not allowed to spend any money). It was fun for me but now I'm glad to be home.
