Getting Closer

Well, it's getting closer. On Monday we are leaving to go to MD Anderson and hopefully we will leave there will more answers than when we came. I think I have all my ducks in a row. I have purchased a plastic accordion file so I can stay somewhat organized. This is hard for me. I made the phone call to the nurse (who has been excellent in helping me!!) to make sure I've got everything I need to bring with me. I have everything...and then some. Better to have more information for them than not enough. We've got all our travel arrangements settled...and as I type this I ask for your prayers that things go smoothly and everything that the travel itinerary says is actually what happens at the airport and the hotel. I'm also considering bringing a wheelchair since it's hard for me to walk long distances.

If I had saved them, I would have a pretty impressive hospital band collection. I was just thinking of that because I had to get some lab work done...and they put one one me!!! Oh my!!

Travel Arrangements

Well, today we made travel arrangements for our trip to MD Anderson the week after next. It was relatively easy since I let my dad do all the talking. I don't do so well when it comes to making travel arrangements. He knows all the important questions to ask. But, we are all set with airline tickets and hotel reservations. Just pray that we don't get lost or mixed up in the Houston airport. That's another thing I don't like...big airports...and the fact that I can't walk far. Well, the Lord will give me the strength to do this. He has thus far.
