Who Let The Dogs Out?
Last night was a little hectic. When Aaron went to bring the dogs in, they decided they would take off. Well, it's happened before in the past, and nothing was different this time. They run off, thinking it's a game, we go for a ride in the car around the neighborhood calling them, then they decide they want a ride back home. I'm not sure how far they got, but they arrived back home just as we were pulling in the driveway about to take a break from looking. Ceasar decided that he still wanted that ride in the car and hopped in the back seat as Aaron was getting the leash out. If the dog's are anything like children then I've got my work cut out for me. Oh well, one of the things that makes life interesting.

I Just Don't Get It
Why is it that my dogs love this:

But, the second it starts raining you would think it's drops of acid raining down.
I just don't get it.

Digital Scrapbooking
Here is what's happened so far with the digital scrapbooking. I started a project and it was going good until I found out that the software will only let you have 10 pages. That's just not enough. So, here is what I've got so far.

I will have to figure out how to make pages for the rest of the pictures I want to use and combine the two. I'll find a way!

Fish Rapture
Ok guys, this is the weirdest thing...I have now lost 2 fish from our tank. Yes, this is another reason why the fish get no names. However, this is just plain bizarre. The first was an Upside-down Catfish. One day he just vanished...no floater, no little half eaten corpse on the tank bottom...NOTHING! Well, it's happened again. I can't find one of the Angel fish we just bought. He is white so, I may just be not seeing him...however, it's been 2 days since I've seen him. There is no evidence of foul play...again NOTHING! This must be what it's going to be like for those who are non-believers when the rapture occurs. Something to think about.

Feeding the Multitudes
This weekend we (Aaron and I) had our own experience feeding the multitudes. I like to feed the ducks so we decided to go to the UAH pond and try our luck there. Last time we went the ducks were excited and there were a few large turtles in the water that enjoyed a feeding as well. This time that was not the case. The ducks were just plain LAZY that day. They didn't want to move and seemed to not want food. However, we did find some turtles. They ended up being the ones who really wanted the food.
This is a duck swimming away from food.
The turtles were the ones who ate.
Turtles catching some rays!
We hit the jackpot at Big Spring Park.

These are the multitudes!!!

These were some cool fish!
Now I'm on the lookout for a petting zoo!!

Isn't It Obvious?
I love to go to the Zoo. I especially love petting zoos. Well, it's been a while since I've been and I was going through my pictures from some of my previous visits. I got to thinking about the "Great Debate". Well, it's not debatable to me...we were created by a loving and caring God and that's that. But, for those who are still up in the air let me just put this on here. I can't look at this picture and think that this somehow happened by chance.

FYI: These are some of the cutest birds. If you haven't been to this type of exhibit you should go. I loved it!!
Ok, now I have to just show you a cute one...one of my favorites.

My Children
As I've said in my profile I have a few "children". I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a tank full of fish. Let me introduce them to you.

This is Reggie. He was the first boxer we got. He's a sweetheart, but sometimes likes to do his own thing by jumping the fence. I think he gets tired of his brother. I get tired of his brother also, so I can't blame him.
This is Caesar. His personality is the equivalent of a child going through the terrible two's. He is a sweet dog as well, but he is so hyper it is sometimes hard to handle. They both make wonderful guard dogs as some of my neighbors could tell you.
Next we have the cats. They run the house and have no other function than to provide entertainment; but that's only every so often.
This is Shelby. She is my first-born. She was found at my parent's house and given to me. She is the sweetest cat I've owned. She does have the worst breath on the planet!! I have tried cleaning her teeth and that just doesn't work.

Don't let that cute face fool you. This is Ziggy. He can go from sweetheart to complete terror in seconds. He was also a stray. He was found in the median of Hwy 231; half dead, and didn't look like he would make it. Well, he made it. He is a good cat, but is afraid of EVERYTHING. He is also the instigator of many a midnight chase through the house.
These are my children except for the fish. I don't give them names because it would be too heartbreaking when one died...and they do that from time to time. I made the mistake of naming one...his name was Mittens Bob. I was sad when he died...so, from that point on no one in the tank gets a name!
