UAB Again

We went to UAB again today. Last week we decided that it would be good to see an oncologist just to make sure we weren't making any hasty decisions and that we were given all options. This was a good visit. We saw two doctors; one was a student learning about cancer, the other was the primary oncologist. They were both nice, listened, and made you feel like you were a person with feelings. The outcome of the visit was this: I am going to get the CT scan from MD Anderson and have it sent to this doctor. He is still suggesting going the route of trying to shrink the tumor and then removing it. He did suggest other forms of treatment besides chemotherapy. Unfortunately I can't remember what they were. The other good thing about this appointment was that the doctor talked as if he was going to be heading up the procedures and my overall care in regard to the cancer. We are very happy with this visit and feel like someone is taking over and taking charge. Thank the Lord for how he works.
