Aaron recently told me about a woman who had liver cancer some time ago and has been cancer free. A friend of ours was able to get her email address and some information about her. Apparently she has been cancer free for about eighteen years and attributes that to God's will for her life as well as the treatment she received in Japan. I have heard about this treatment and have heard that is has been an effective treatment of cancer. From the testimonials I have read, those who were treated in this way all had liver cancer. Now, I know we are going to MD Anderson, and I know that when they tell me my treatment options that most likely, I will say "go ahead". I just know me. However, I also know that I am not opposed to this treatment in Japan and from what I've heard, you cannot go through chemotherapy or radiation before taking it. You can, however, be treated in those manners afterward if it doesn't work. I'm sure we all know how doctors can be...they don't necessarily want you to try non-conventional treatments.
The main reason I started this post was to say that I have been in contact with the woman who went to Japan and received treatment and I hope to speak more with her to make a a better informed decision. So, if you would please pray that I am able to talk more with her and that the Lord lead us to the right method of treatment, I would appreciate it.
