Today we brought RJ to church with us. He did great. We had a bottle before we left and he only made a couple little noises during service. This is good because the service is generally an hour and a half or more. Afterward, a diaper change kept him calm for some fellowship time. This was a big step for us because there is no nursery for him to go to. Children of all ages sit with the parents during service. It is a good thing because it gives children the great example of worshiping the Lord, listening to His word being preached, allowing them to see their parents worshiping the Lord. There is a room off to the side for parents and their children to go should the child become to loud or disruptive. It was a great service and everyone loved being able to see the baby. The comment we got the most was "look at all that hair". Yep, he's got plenty of hair. Now that we've taken him this time, it will make it much easier from now on. I only wish I took a picture of what he wore...it was so cute. I'll have to put it on him just for a photo op.

R.J.'s "church debut" was quite a success. I have to say, as one whose seen many a baby, he really is up there on the cuteness scale.
