Missed Opportunity
The Lord put something in front of me that was so obvious this morning...and what did I do? I made excuses. Last night Aaron and I were watching "The Way of the Master" show that we got for Christmas. One episode was on Jehova's Witnesses. It was a very good episode that gave lots of insight as to how to witness to them. Then this morning, I was watching Wretched TV and the subject of witnessing to a Jehova's Witness was brought up. Then, a little while later who rings my door? A Jehova's Witness. What did I do? Nothing. That's right...nothing. I made the excuse that I was home alone with the baby, hadn't had a shower and therefore could not answer the door and potentially witness to them. The Lord puts opportunities in front of you...take them. Ugh!

I know how you feel, yesterday I got my haircut and didn't even bring up the subject, and then a guy on bicycle in front of Books A Million asked me for a quater...I should said, sure, here's 4 million quaters (Hand him million dollar bill). But nooooo. :-(
God forgive us and give us more oppurtunities.
I understand, Shawna. I've this JW girl who has been knocking at my door for a couple of years now. She comes like 4 times a year with booklets and magazines usually when I'm doing school with the kids or in the middle of cooking (good excuses). I need to really study how witness to her and what a learning experience that will be for the kids too. But all by the strength of His spirit or I will fail...
