Brace Yourself

Aaron and I went to the hospital last night to visit R.J. We were happy to see that he was in his own crib now. I thought to myself..."just a few more days and he will be home". I'm sure Aaron was thinking the same thing. Then the nurse dropped the ..."he may be coming home tomorrow." WHAT?!? This whole time we had been told that it would be at least another week before he got to come home. Maybe that's so we wouldn't get our hopes up. Needless to say, we were in a state of shock. Don't get me wrong...we are excited that our son will be coming home soon. We are still a little unprepared, so, today will be used to make sure we've got as much in order as we possibly can. We have always known that the Lord would bring him home from the hospital in his perfect time...we just have to remember that His time is not always ours. If you would please pray because right now I am fighting a cold and certainly don't want to get R.J. or Aaron sick, we would appreciate it. On a side note, Aaron has taken such good care of me these few weeks, I would for him to have to take care of both R.J. and his sick mom.
