I am also trying to figure out just how many Bible studies I would like to do and at what point is it too many? Right now Aaron and I try to do a Bible study, just he and I, about twice a week. This works very well for us. We also go to a Friday night Bible study with 2 other couples. The idea was brought up of getting a womens Bible study together at the church (which I would be interested in). And Aaron has mentioned being invited to another Bible study with the Pastor and some other couples. I haven't heard much so I'm just waiting to see. All of these are great and multiple ways to study the Scriptures...but I think I need to focus on my personal Bible study which has been lacking.

Hectic
My life really isn't hectic...It can be full; but I wouldn't say hectic. I just think that my mind doesn't process multiple things well. Case in point...with it being the end of the school year it is also the end of the AWANA year at church. Well, somehow I got it in my mind that there was just soooooooooo much stuff to do...awards, grand prix. Yes..just 2 events. I somehow turned them into about 50. I do this quite frequently where I get things/ideas/dates/events in my mind that are more spaced out than what I've thought. I get all ramped up and then realize that it's really not as hectic as I thought and I actually have more time to work with than I figured. Why do I do this to myself? I purchased a date book and it has really helped...except for the times I've forgotten to put an event on the calendar or forgot to look at the calendar. But, other than that it has really worked out.

I agree completely. Many times you can get so bogged down in multiple Bible studies that you miss when God is speaking to you. I have found two is my happy number.
