Quick Update

I haven't had much chance to post anything lately and I am hoping to get some pictures on here by this weekend. R.J. has moved to the isolette and is now wearing clothes. He has increased his feeding to about 30 cc and today I will find out if it's even more than that. He has lost just a little more weight but not enough to really count. He doesn't have an IV so we are thankful for that. If he continues to thrive, and start putting on some weight we may have him home in just a couple weeks. I was able to feed him yesterday and hold and rock him for a little while. I am hoping I will be able to do that again today. The Lord has really had his hand on this child and he is the only one to receive the praise. Thank you for your continued prayers.

My prayers are with you. I know how hard it is to to be seperated from your little one, only being able to hold him for brief amounts of time. Please let me encorage you to push for your right to hold him. That is what he needs now more than anything: the familiar touch of mommy.
It sounds like he is doing wonderful. 30 cc's is huge for a little guy. I know he'll be home before you know it.
