Meaning: "well of the Living One who sees me". The name was given to the spring in the desert where an angel of the Lord appeared to Haggar. After appearing to her and telling her that she would bear the son of Abram and name him Ishmael
"She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: 'You are the God who sees me', for she said 'I have now seen the One who sees me.'" (Genesis 16:13) What particularly stood out to me was when Haggar said "You are the God who sees me". No matter what we are going through He is the God who sees us, as individual as we are, no matter where we are or how we are. He sees every detail of our life; our thoughts, words, actions...He sees it all. That is a very comforting thought to know that He sees it all.

Well said. That is kinda scary to think about he is watching us all the time.
