I must say...what a trip! It was great!! I would highly recommend going to the Creation Museum. It was a wonderful opportunity to see God working in another way. I'm not sure how many people were there when we visited; but it was a lot. Imagine all these people, some being Christians, some being skeptics and some being like me who are Christians but were able to see and understand more of the truth I believe in. I was in no way doubtful, but I did want to know how the subject of dinosaurs was addressed. I knew that man and dinosaurs lived together...but for some reason it just didn't "click" like it does now. The exhibits were excellent and so life-like. The only thing I would've have added was an exhibit about Christ's suffering, crucifixion, and resurrection. I'm not sure if that is coming; or if they felt that it would be too graphic. The subject wasn't left out entirely...it just wasn't an exhibit like the rest. The museum does a great job of showing people the true timeline of history and they don't make light of it in any way; nor do they only focus in creation and not the true need of mankind which is salvation. Another part Aaron and I both enjoyed was the planetarium. It really put into perspective just how great; just how big; just how awesome God is and...how blessed and privileged we are. Of course we had to make a trip to the museum shop. And...2 bags full later we had what we needed. There were a lot of great DVD's and books. We bought mainly DVD's and I believe Aaron would like to show some of these to the youth. We started watching them last night and have A LOT to go. They aren't that long so it won't take too long to go thought them all. Here is the link to the Creation Museum; check it out!
I'll put pictures in another post.
