I'm not sure what the actual request is...but I'll just explain. The Lord had put on my heart to go sit with and visit residents of a nursing home. A couple weeks ago I found a couple facilities in Huntsville who said that they allow volunteers to come and help. For some reason or another I didn't call, but it still was on my heart. This morning I was pressed again to actually call. I looked again at what facilities were around and this time I looked at New Market as well as Huntsville. As it turns out there is a facility just up the road from where I live. I spoke with a woman there who said that yes, they do allow people to come and visit with the residents and that setting up a schedule would be good. That also works for me since I don't work on Friday's and that was when I was considering going. I set up an appointment to go there this Friday at 8:30 a.m. to talk with the same woman I spoke to earlier. God has opened the door...therefore I know I'm going in the right direction. I would just ask that you pray about the situation in general.
