Saturday we got up at 6:00 to help a friend at church with her yard sale to raise money for her summer missions trip. That was a lot of fun and I think she had a good turnout. After that we went to another yardsale (found 2 maternity items to wear), got breakfast, ate while Aaron worked out, left the house and bought a vacuum, got chemicals for the pool, got wrapping paper for baby shower gift, came home, had a snack, wrapped gift and signed card, rushed to baby shower. Here was the point where we were able to slow down. The shower was nice and the mother-to-be who was due June 5th actually had her baby Sunday. I guess the baby wanted to enjoy the new things early. After the shower we had a Chili supper at church that Aaron needed to cook for. He did that and took it to church and I took a nap until it was supposed to start. After some chili, cake and cheering on the kids playing basketball, we went to some friends house who we go to church with and played some games. Came back home and collapsed.
Sunday was a little different...woke up, went to Sunday School and morning service, got some lunch, took at 2.5 hour nap (really needed that) went back to church for evening service then had a spur of the moment idea to go see the new Chronicles of Narnia movie. It was good, and a very good idea.
That was my weekend. And next weekend Aaron and I have said that we are not making any plans.
