A Break

This Wednesday night there was no AWANA, no special event, nothing that I was involved in at Church. And I was OK with that. At first I wondered just what I would do...but, after making some shells and cheese (a favorite) and plopping down in front of my computer I was ok. I blurfed for a little while. Then I investigated the "Creation Museum". Oooooohh, aaaaaahhhh. Aaron and I are planning to take a trip there soon and I wanted to see what other area attractions were there. As it turns out there are a lot... first we have the Cincinnati Zoo (we both really like zoos), there is also the Newport Aquarium (another favorite of ours), Coney Island (a possibility), and other museums. So, I think it is safe to say that there would be plenty to do over a weekend trip.

After investigating the getaway idea, I actually turned the TV on. This is not something I do often. I watched a show called "Jon & Kate + 8". I must say...WOW! That family has patience...and some kind people helping out. And it just occurred to me...if God gives that much patience to us on earth, imagine just how much He must have for us!!! I understand the concept, but sometimes I've got to have something to measure it against.
