My Golden Herd
In 2 Chronicles 13:8 Jeroboam's army was cursed because they carried with them golden calves. It was as if they had put their sin in physical form to carry around with them. The Bible tells us that if there is anything we love/value more than God it is an idol. In my Bible the last sentence of the note for this verse says "Let go of anything that hinders your relationship with God." I interpret this sentence as: Let go of anything that keeps you from giving him all of you; giving him time set aside just for him; giving him your thoughts, actions, words; giving him praise, adoration, thanks. Hmmmm.... Off the top of my head I can think of a few things. And with those things enter...my golden herd...and God is my butcher.

I said a prayer for you and Aaron today - God is doing something really exciting in your lives, I can feel it in my bones girl. You are such a blessing.
