Moments of Clarity

Sometimes I get what I call Moments of Clarity. It's the realization of a simple truth or a not so simple truth. The other day I was thinking about the act of prayer. As Christians we get to talk to God. And it hits me...this is GOD! The creator of all things, the ultimate judge of all mankind, the one who decided that rather than send us all to hell he gave us a way to spend eternity with him. We deserve hell...it would have been more than gracious just to not send us to hell...but no; he has made a way for us to be with Him in heaven. For eternity!! And yes, I reflected on what I actually deserve as a human and the sacrifice that was made to save my soul. But then I think, he actually lets us talk to him; wants us to talk to him...and he talks back!! He talks back folks! How great and gracious is our God!!!
