The Crud (A Soapbox Story)

Well, I was MIA for a few days due to "the crud". Thankfully I have not yet come down with the full flu, or strep throat, or anything more sever than just 48-72 hrs of feeling a bit icky and feverish. I'm considering starting a support group for those who have it...mind you, it would be by conference call only. I don't want to get sick again!! I think we are all just passing it back and forth to each other. Right when you are starting to get over one illness someone with a slight variation to what you had passes their's off to you and the virus from that person joins forces with the virus you're trying to get rid of. Now you have a completely different strain of this "virus". It's a vicious cycle. Kleenex, Puffs, and every brand of cold a flu medicine is making a fortune.

Well, I'll look on the bright side; at least I can taste things now!!
